From July 30 to August 12, the city of Bangkok, Thailand, is hosting the Asian Championships among youth and boxers under 22, reports the Boxing Federation of Uzbekistan.
At the same time, members of our national team under 22 have also actively started competing in their assigned weight categories. The main bouts of the day are scheduled as follows:
— In the 48 kg weight, Robiya Bakhtiyorova will face Ophelia Magno (Philippines).
— In the 51 kg category, Gulsevar Ganieva will have Devika Gorpade (India) as her opponent.
— In the 57 kg category, Khumorabonu Mamajonova will compete against Viktoriya Baidukova (Kazakhstan).
— At 50 kg, Behruz Holdorov will step into the ring against Vishwanat Suresh (India).
— At 55 kg, Samandar Olimov will meet Beksultan Boranbek (Kazakhstan).
— In 60 kg, Shokhrukh Abdumalikov will compete against Indra Sunar (Nepal).
— At 65 kg, Sayat Ilyasov will fight against Ming Chen (China).
— At 70 kg, Muhammadazizbek Ismoilov will compete against Gyubin Park (South Korea).
In today's bouts, each member of our national team is ready to enter the ring with great preparation and discipline. For our boxers, the Asian Championships is not only the next stage in their sporting career but also a valuable opportunity to raise national honor even higher.
