On August 28 in Monaco the draw ceremony for the UEFA Champions League 2025/2026 season general stage will take place. The intense ceremony, faithful to tradition, will be organized on a prestigious stage and will turn into the starting point for the new season — of revenges, new competition and unexpected pairings.
The draw for the Champions League is scheduled, just like last year, for the date of August 28. In this connection, on that very day we will learn what the road map of the big competition will be. 36 teams will be divided into four groups. Teams from a single federation will not play against each other. Thus, for each club from the very first stage its own tactical puzzle, the geography of trips and the daily schedule will be determined.
On the same day the draws will also be held for the Europa League and the Conference League for the 2025/2026 season. This will simultaneously set the calendar for all teams participating on the continental stage and prepare the fans for long-awaited pairings and evenings rich in thrills.
The final schedule will be announced by August 30. Until then clubs will deepen their plans for logistics, preparation and rotation, and the coaching staffs will launch their initial analyses of opponents. In short, the draw is the start, but after that every little detail turns into a decisive factor.
