The head coach of the Uzbekistan national team, Temur Kapadze, was a guest on the "Football+" podcast yesterday and commented on the news and discussions surrounding the recent arrival of a foreign coach.
According to Kapadze, he is never against a top coach coming to the team. On the contrary, this situation can become a new opportunity for him to gain experience and learn. At the same time, he emphasized that he is ready to help if necessary. However, he said that it would be advisable if this process was organized and transparent.
"If a highly experienced coach is invited, I won't object. I still have a lot to learn. Nevertheless, I will help as much as I can. But this must be done systematically. For example, if they had said that a meeting would be held first, a coach with world championship experience would be brought in, and Temur would also remain at headquarters, everything would have been clear to everyone. Various rumors wouldn't have increased so much," said the coach.
According to him, the federation remained silent on this issue for a long time, and this situation tormented him. "The main task for me was to prepare the guys for the tournament. But I myself didn't know what was happening. To be honest, I'm tired of the noise and rumors around me," Kapadze added.
Thus, the head coach of the national team showed that he is a supporter of openness and clarity. He believes that the management's transparent and orderly decisions will ensure confidence and peace of mind for both players and coaches.
