Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola commented on his team ahead of the upcoming derby against Manchester United in the fourth round of the English Premier League.
The renowned coach emphasized that since joining the club, the Citizens have often dominated United.
"Since I was appointed head of City, we have almost always been stronger than United. If we calculate the nine years of the last decade, in many cases, the advantage was on our side. "We've earned a lot of points in head-to-head matches," said Guardiola.
At the same time, the coach did not tire of expressing a cautious attitude:
"Of course, United can win against us. This is football, and such a possibility cannot be denied. However, we don't aim to get on the field and lose. We need points, we must stop the two-legged streak. That's why it's so important to get out of the derby at least with a win," he added.
