At a press conference following the match between Arcadag and Andijan (0-0), Andijan head coach Maxim Shatskikh and Doniyor Abdumannopov, recognized as the best player of the match, answered journalists' questions.
Head coach Maksim Shatskikh expressed his opinion as follows:
"Good evening everyone. First of all, I would like to express special gratitude to our fans who have traveled a long way and given us spiritual strength. In my opinion, this match was watched not only by those at the stadium, but also by all residents of Andijan and our country. Speaking about the match, I thanked the guys after the meeting. They followed the instructions given to them, created opportunities, and actively acted on the field. Most importantly, they were able to show desire and willpower. I would also like to remind you that we played away against the Turkmenistan national team, and this aspect should not be forgotten. As a result, we got our first point, and we deserved it."
One of the heroes of the contest, Doniyor Abdumannopov, who was recognized as the best player of the match, said:
"The match went as we expected. We strictly followed the coach's instructions. I would like to thank all my teammates and the fans who came to the field and supported me."
Thus, "Andijan" achieved an important draw away and scored the first points in the competition.
