Alejandro Garnacho scored his first goal in the Champions League while playing for Chelsea. The 21-year-old Argentine footballer scored in the 53rd minute of today’s match against Qarabag, finishing the game with a 2:2 result.
According to Squawka, Garnacho has become the first player in Champions League history to score goals for two different English clubs before turning 22. Previously, he had scored while playing for Manchester United.
Last summer, Alejandro Garnacho left the "Red Devils" and joined the "Blues". For the London club, he has participated in a total of nine matches this season and managed to score two goals.
The Chelsea team has accumulated seven points after four rounds in the overall group stage of the Champions League, and currently holds tenth place in the tournament standings.
