Laporte: "We are not the closest friends with Ronaldo"

Former "Al-Nassr" footballer Aymeric Laporte spoke about his relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo. The Spanish player left the Saudi club at the beginning of September and returned to the "Athletic Bilbao" team.

"We talked a bit with Ronaldo before I left, but after that we hardly kept in touch. We are not best friends, we don't communicate every day and don't tell each other everything.

But if needed, I can always contact Cristiano. We have each other's phone numbers, there is no problem," said the 31-year-old defender in an interview with "Al Nassr Zone."

Aymeric Laporte played in Saudi Arabia for two years. Cristiano Ronaldo, meanwhile, has been representing "Al-Nassr" since the beginning of 2023.
