Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann helped his team secure a victory in a La Liga match against Levante (3:1). The 34-year-old footballer came off the bench in the second half, scoring twice and becoming the hero of the match.
According to MisterChip, Griezmann has risen to third place in the list of players who have earned the most points for their teams with goals in La Liga history. He surpassed Real Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo in this regard, reaching 133 points (Ronaldo has 132).
Above him in the ranking are only Lionel Messi (221) and Raul (142). Atletico, after 12 rounds, occupies the fourth position in the Spanish championship standings with 25 points.
