
Danish defender Simon Kjær spent a significant portion of his football career in Italy, playing for clubs such as Palermo, Milan, Roma, and Atalanta.
After retiring from his football career, he has continued to live in Italy. Kjær explained the reason for staying in Italy: "I feel good here.
I ended my football career for the sake of my children; I want to spend more time with them. In our family, there is a mix of languages: I speak Danish, my wife speaks Swedish, and the children communicate in English and Italian," Kjær said in an interview with pianetamilan.it.
