The head coach of Kazakhstan's "Kairat" team, Rafael Urazbakhtin, shared his thoughts on the UEFA Champions League match against Denmark's "Copenhagen." The Matchday 5 game in the group stage concluded with a 3-2 victory for "Copenhagen."
"In the first half, we played very passively – we lost many duels. The opponent dominated us in terms of ball control and, perhaps, in desire.
We lacked aggression, drive, and courage," said the coach, as quoted by Metaratings. Urazbakhtin also noted that his team only began to display the football they desired after the 70th minute of the match.
Following this match, "Kairat" stands in 35th place with 1 point, while "Copenhagen" is in 29th place on the tournament table with 4 points.
