The group stage draw for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, has taken place. For the first time in its history, Uzbekistan will participate in the World Cup and has been placed in Group "K".
Following the announcement of the draw results, FIFA sent a message to Uzbekistan, asking: "Hello, Uzbekistan! How do you feel after your historic first-ever World Cup draw?"
The Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA) responded: "Great! Exciting matches lie ahead. We aim to thoroughly prepare for the World Cup and delight Uzbek fans with our performance."
