Manuel Neuer, the goalkeeper for Bayern Munich, will be unable to assist his team in the early weeks of 2025 due to an injury. This was reported on the club's official website.
According to the statement, Neuer experienced discomfort in the thigh of his right leg following the December 14 match against Mainz, which ended in a 2–2 draw. A medical examination later revealed a partial muscle fiber tear.
It is estimated that the 39-year-old goalkeeper could return to action after the Bundesliga's winter break, possibly by January 11, in the match against Wolfsburg. This season, Neuer has played in 20 matches across all competitions, conceding 21 goals.
