The French specialist emphasized that the main path to success at Real Madrid is to prioritize players, live in the same body with them, and instill an idea in the team through persuasion, not coercion.
- At Real Madrid, coaches actually serve the players. For me, this is the key to victory. You must always be with the player. "If you don't feel and understand this, you can't stay here long," said Zidane.
In his opinion, the coach's task is not to "squeeze" the players with criticism, but to support them, to give them confidence that "I am with you" every day. Because for the team to accept the ideas offered by the coach, these ideas must first be acceptable to the players and correspond to their inner mood.
Zidane emphasizes another important point in this regard: if the players don't sincerely accept every step, every decision of the coach, something will still be lacking in the team. This may seem like "small," but in big games, it is precisely these small gaps that become the decisive factor.

According to him, the team was going through a difficult period at that time, and it was very important to restore confidence and mood to some players.
"Together with them, we created an atmosphere where we truly enjoyed the game. We placed great trust in the players. They needed to restore both their self-confidence and physical condition. The coaching staff has formed a special system for this. When a player is competitive, enjoys training, and enters the field with enthusiasm - they can certainly compete for the big trophies of the season," Zidane continued.
