Lens Head Coach Saj Urges Not to Surrender in Championship Race

The head coach of the French club Lens, Pierre Saj, expressed his thoughts on the championship race. The team, with one game in hand, is currently in second place in the league standings, trailing PSG by 2 points. This was reported by euro-football.rureports.
Saj emphasized that PSG has taken the lead, so Lens cannot slow down. The coach stated that the team must maintain enthusiasm and high pace in their pursuit to catch up with the rival.
"We do not intend to give up because we have the opportunity to achieve an extraordinary result," said Saj. He acknowledged that 10 consecutive victories would be a historic achievement, but added that it is not yet a championship, and Lens still aims to prevail in the end.
On January 24, Lens will face Marseille in the 19th round of the championship. Lens currently has 43 points, while Marseille is in third place with 35 points.
