Manchester United's right-of-way winger Marcus Rashford is currently on loan at Barcelona. However, the question of whether the Catalan club will buy him outright after the season ends remains open. The reason is simple: both financial conditions and the club's summer plans strongly influence the final decision.
At the same time, according to information published by El Nacional, Barcelona head coach Hans-Dieter Flick is reportedly ready to give up Rashford if certain conditions are met. The issue is that the decision regarding Rashford's future could change if another player Flick expects is acquired.
The source states that Flick's "alternative" is Manchester City's Savio. It is reported that the German specialist believes that the Brazilian attacking player is better suited to his playing system in terms of tactics. That is, for Flick, "fitting into a scheme" is more important than "name": whoever works faster in the system gets selected.
It's also noted that Savio currently lacks sufficient playing time at Manchester City. Because Jeremy Doku and Antoine Semeno are more effective in his position, the competition is fierce, and the minutes are limited. From this perspective, for Savio, a new club could mean more play, more confidence, and more growth.
Numbers have also been mentioned regarding the transfer fee: Savio's value is estimated at approximately 45 million euros. However, it's reported that the Citizens didn't even sell him to Tottenham for €70 million last summer. Therefore, if Barça takes a truly serious step, negotiations may not be easy.
