Uzbek boxers again achieved convincing victories in the Bangkok ring

The international youth boxing tournament "Futures Cup" continues in the capital of Thailand, Bangkok. It is gratifying that both national teams of Uzbekistan are participating in this prestigious competition, and our compatriots are attracting attention with their worthy performances in the ring. Yesterday's program included fights by a total of 5 of our compatriots, and most of them brought joy to our fans.

One of the first competitions took place in the -51 kg weight category. In it, Nazokat Mardonova entered the ring against Aiym Tankibaeva from Kazakhstan. Our compatriot dominated the fight, leaving almost no chance for his opponent, and convincingly won with a score of 5:0. This result once again demonstrated that the representatives of the Uzbek boxing school came to the tournament with serious preparation.

In the -54 kg weight category, Sabrina Chakomanova faced North Korean representative John Un Gyong. Unfortunately, luck wasn't on our compatriot's side. In a fierce and intense clash, Sabrina lost 1-4 and thus ended her participation in the competition. Nevertheless, it's important to acknowledge his determination on the field and his ability to fight to the end.

One of the most striking results for the delegation of Uzbekistan was the name of Abdugani Yorkinjonov. He also won his second fight in the competition. This time, he faced Libyan Omar Abdulwahhab in the -50 kg weight category. However, our compatriot didn't drag out the fight - in the very first round, he knocked out his opponent and clearly proved his superiority. This victory shows that Yorkinjonov's claim to the tournament is very serious.

The competition in the -48 kg weight category also ended pleasantly for the fans. In it, Maftuna Musurmonova fought against Assylai Murat from Kazakhstan. Our compatriot defeated his opponent and secured a spot in the next round. Confidence, enthusiasm, and a thirst for victory were evident in his actions.

Another encouraging result in yesterday's program was recorded in the -60 kilogram weight category. Rushanabonu Isayeva faced New Zealand representative Brooke Miller. Our compatriot also left no chance for his opponent in this fight and won with an absolute advantage of 5:0. This result is not only important for our team, but also serves as another vivid example of the potential of the Uzbek boxing school in the international arena.

Thus, four of our five representatives who entered the ring in yesterday's program won and advanced to the next stage. Only one of our athletes bid farewell to the competition. This means that the overall performance of our teams is not bad, on the contrary, it is more reliable and effective.

This news, presented by the Boxing Federation of Uzbekistan, once again brought pride to the hearts of fans. Our young athletes, defending the honor of our country in the rings of Bangkok, demonstrate courage, skill, and will in every match. Now the focus will be on the upcoming battles. We hope that our compatriots will continue their victorious run in the next stages of the competition and raise the flag of Uzbekistan even higher.
