Boxing. The victories and defeats achieved in the semi-finals of the Asian Championship

The semi-finals of the Asian Senior Boxing Championship have begun in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Today, on the first day of the competition, 4 boxers from Uzbekistan entered the ring, and most of the fights were interesting and full of struggle.
Our representative in the -70 kg weight category, Aisha Tairova, entered the ring in the semi-finals against Arundhati Choudhary from India. Despite her chances, she could not maintain her advantage over her opponent and ended up losing 1:4, ending the competition with a bronze medal.
In the -75 kg weight category, Uzbekistan's Aziza Zokirova once again showed her strength and managed to defeat the number one seeded Indian Lovlina Borkhain with a score of 5:0. Zokirova was lucky to completely defeat her opponent in this fight.
In the +80 kg weight category, Oltinoy Sotimbaeva took to the ring against Dina Islambekova from Kazakhstan. Sotimbaeva defeated her opponent 3:2 in the semifinals of the "Strandja" tournament. However, this time, she lost 0:5 and was limited to a bronze medal.
In the -65 kg weight category, Abdullah Madaminov defeated Shion Nishiyama from Japan with a score of 5:0 and advanced to the final. Madaminov's injury-free victory indicates that our athletes have begun a full path to success.
