Bernardo Silva speaks about his future as he prepares to bid farewell to Manchester City

Manchester City captain Bernardo Silva has broken his silence on his future as he prepares to leave Etihad Stadium at the end of the current season. The experienced Portuguese midfielder admitted he has a clear plan for the next step in his career, fueling further transfer rumors. The 31-year-old playmaker will end his nine-year successful tenure in Manchester when his contract expires this summer. This is reported by Goal.com .
Since joining from AS Monaco in 2017, Bernardo Silva has made 459 appearances for Manchester City, climbing to eighth place on the club's all-time appearance list and winning 15 major trophies. The player, who took over the captain's armband following the departure of Kevin De Bruyne, intends to resolve his future club situation before international tournaments begin.
In an interview with Canal 11, Silva said: "Nothing is decided yet and I don't know where I will play. I have an idea of what I want to do, I am talking to my agent, but the final decision will be made at the end of the season. I want to focus entirely on Manchester City, and then I will choose from the options. I need to clear my head before the World Cup."
When asked about offers from Saudi Arabian clubs, Silva replied cautiously: "I have connections, I know who wants me in their team, but there are no concrete figures on the table yet. I am calm because I have good options. The level of competition and my family's happiness will be the most important factors in making the decision."
Silva emphasized that at 31, he is still ready to play at a high level, citing players like Ilkay Gundogan and Bruno Fernandes as examples. According to him, modern football offers the opportunity to play at the top level until the age of 34, and he feels physically prepared for it.
