Malaysia is expected to produce electric scooters in Uzbekistan
The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Malaysia, Karomiddin Gadoev, held a meeting with Elaine Tham, Managing Director of Pro Events and Marketing Sdn Bhd.

The prospects for implementing investment projects in Uzbekistan with the participation of this Malaysian company were discussed.

The Malaysian side announced that it is considering the possibility of implementing a project to produce electric scooters (3- and 4-wheeled compact electric vehicles) in Uzbekistan.

According to Elaine Tham, based on preliminary calculations, the annual production volume is expected to be 5 thousand scooters.

“In the future, taking into account the potential for export to Central Asian countries, there is a possibility of increasing it to 10 thousand. "Localization of scooter production can further improve the quality of delivery services to the population in Uzbekistan," says the company's managing director.

The foreign side also expressed its readiness to cooperate in the implementation of software for conducting medical diagnostics in humans using artificial intelligence in the healthcare sector in Uzbekistan.

At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to organize a business mission of the company's management to Uzbekistan to study the prospects for implementing the identified projects.
