A French woman discovered she had leukemia using ChatGPT, Bild reports.
Marley Garnreiter reportedly suffered from constant sweating, itching, and weakness after her father's death. At first, she attributed this to her grief and anxiety. But over time, the symptoms of the disease did not go away, and she began to lose weight, so she began to suspect that something was wrong. The woman entered her symptoms into ChatGPT, and the artificial intelligence diagnosed her with leukemia.
"I was skeptical and ignored it. I thought it couldn't be true," the woman says.
Later, new symptoms of the disease appeared - constant fatigue and a feeling of pressure in the chest. When Marley finally went to the doctor, a suspicious tumor was discovered in her left lung. The diagnosis: Hodgkin lymphoma - a type of blood cancer.
“I was completely confused. I never thought that it could really be cancer,” Marley says.
She is currently undergoing chemotherapy. Marley’s story once again proves that it is important not to ignore any signs of illness.
“If your body is trying to tell you something, listen to it,” she advises.
The woman calls for contacting medical professionals from the earliest stages of any disease.
Earlier, scientists from London discovered a new method of treating cancer using artificial intelligence. In this case, digital “twins” of patients are created and the treatment is first tested on them.
