WhatsApp web to get audio and video calling

WhatsApp is working on adding voice and video calling features to its web version, according to WABetaInfo.

Some users have already noticed the new call buttons in their web chat interface, though the buttons are not yet functional and appear to be in testing mode.

“For years, WhatsApp has focused on improving call features for mobile and desktop apps. Now, it is shifting attention to the web client,” WABetaInfo reports.
