Anthropic has officially cut off OpenAI’s access to its Claude AI models, according to TechCrunch.com.
This move prevents Claude 3 models from being used within OpenAI systems, including ChatGPT and any related services. It marks a clear end to any existing collaboration between the two companies.
Previously, OpenAI had limited API access to Claude for testing and analysis purposes. That access has now been fully revoked.
While neither company disclosed the exact reason, analysts suggest it reflects intensifying competition in the AI sector.
Claude models remain available through platforms like Google Cloud and Amazon Bedrock. OpenAI, meanwhile, continues to promote its GPT-4o model.
