The geopolitical race for artificial intelligence is heating up worldwide

According to the Jefferies report, countries are intensifying the "sovereign AI" race to independently control artificial intelligence capabilities in data, infrastructure, and algorithms, investing.com reported.

Sovereign AI means a country's ability to develop and implement artificial intelligence technology relying on its own strength. This ensures strategic control without requiring full state ownership.

The report noted that countries such as the US, China, the European Union, and Saudi Arabia are striving for independence in AI through various models and projects, but there are risks such as high costs and fragmentation in innovations.
