As competition in the smartphone market continues to intensify, Xiaomi is next in line after Huawei and Samsung. The renowned brand is now preparing to unveil its first-ever triple-folding flagship device. This announcement was made via the XiaomiTime blog, sparking fresh intrigue in the tech world.
According to reports, an unidentified Xiaomi gadget has been registered in the GSMA database under the code 2608BPX34C. Insiders suggest that this number is no coincidence, claiming it is the hidden identifier of a triple-folding smartphone.
Interestingly, this device appeared in the GSMA database on December 2—the same day Samsung unveiled its Galaxy Z TriFold model. This coincidence has led tech bloggers to speculate that “Xiaomi is also ready with a counter-strike.”

The potential name of the new smartphone has also been revealed: MIX Trifold. According to insiders, it is expected to feature a robust and durable body, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. This indicates that the device will belong to the premium segment, not just in design but also in components.
It is reported that the Xiaomi MIX Trifold will officially go on sale in the third quarter of 2026. The competition is fierce: while Samsung has already launched its triple-folding model, Huawei is also experimenting in this direction. Now, another strong competitor is entering the market.
Tech industry networks are describing this gadget as “the next major trend.” If the insider information is confirmed, Xiaomi will once again prove its innovative approach in the technology scene.
