Space city model to be created in Russia using artificial intelligence

A project has been launched in Russia to create a digital twin of a city designed to model life in deep space conditions. This system will be built using artificial intelligence and will reflect conditions as close as possible to the environments of the Moon and Mars. Ixbt.com reports on this.
According to Andrey Vedernikov, a representative of the Research Institute of the Food Concentrate Industry, the project will allow for the preliminary development of food production scenarios for space missions. This will help identify potential errors before real experiments are conducted.
In the virtual environment, specialists will test the full cycle, including product cultivation, storage, and waste recycling. Additionally, food preparation processes will be analyzed, taking into account the cultural characteristics and habits of crew members.
The project is aimed at solving one of the primary tasks of future expeditions — the autonomous provision of food for humans. The digital city will serve as an important technological base for space exploration.
