Render images of Samsung's new Galaxy Glasses smart eyewear have appeared online. The device resembles the popular Ray-Ban glasses in appearance, but features specialized cameras on the sides for capturing photos and videos. Ixbt.com reports on this.
The new gadget runs on the Android XR platform and is equipped with the Google Gemini artificial intelligence system. No display is provided on the device; all operations are performed entirely through voice commands.
Users will be able to translate texts, check the weather, or take photos using voice control.
According to technical specifications, the glasses will be provided with a Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 processor, a 155 mAh battery, and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX681 sensor. Additionally, the device will feature Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules.
The price of Galaxy Glasses is expected to range from $379 to $479, and its market release is scheduled for 2026. In 2027, the company may introduce a more advanced version featuring a microLED display.
