Angara launch complex at Vostochniy expanded by 89 hectares

Roscosmos has provided information regarding the launch complex for Angara carrier rockets at the Vostochny Cosmodrome. Ixbt.com reports on this matter.
The complex includes 316 facilities with a total area of approximately 89 hectares. This infrastructure serves the launches of Angara-A5 and Angara-A5M heavy rockets.

The design of the complex utilized experience from a similar site at the Plesetsk Cosmodrome. The infrastructure at Vostochny was created with a modernization reserve to adapt to future promising rockets and new technological solutions.
The launch table for heavy-class rockets was commissioned in December 2025. This allows for the upgrading of facilities without large-scale reconstruction.
The construction of the launch complex for Angara rockets marks a significant step in the development of cosmonautics. It expands Russia's capabilities to deliver payloads into orbit from its own territory.
