Intel Arc G3 processor outperforms Ryzen Z2 in benchmarks

The Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor is designed for portable gaming consoles and has outperformed the Ryzen Z2 Extreme in initial tests. Currently, results are only available for the processor component. This was reported by Ixbt.com xabar.
The Arc G3 Extreme features 14 cores in a 2+8+4 configuration and Arc B390 iGPU graphics. It is very similar to the Core Ultra X model, with two performance cores disabled.

In PassMark tests, this processor scored over 29,600 points, while its competitor, the Ryzen Z2 Extreme, recorded 23,650 points.
The Ryzen Z2 Extreme has three Zen 5 and five Zen 5c cores. Although the new Intel chip has 1.5 times more cores, the AMD APU cores support hyper-threading.
The graphics component has not yet been compared, but it is known that the Arc B390 model is significantly faster than the Radeon 890M. Information has circulated online regarding the first portable console equipped with the Arc G3 Extreme.
It is expected to be more expensive than many models based on the Ryzen Z2 Extreme.
