RedMagic has officially confirmed that the launch of its new gaming smartphone, the RedMagic 11S Pro, is scheduled for May 18. Emphasizing the device's extreme performance, the manufacturer announced that it will feature a specially overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. This is reported by Ixbt.com .
According to company representatives, the smartphone will use selected processors capable of stable operation at a frequency of 4.74 GHz. For comparison, standard smartphones on this platform are usually limited to 4.61 GHz. The selection process includes multi-stage stress tests, where the chip's heat dissipation and energy efficiency are evaluated.
RedMagic's promotional materials state that the smartphone will support over 200 games at 2K resolution and 144 fps. These include popular titles such as Call of Duty and Break Through the Dark Zone. Image upscaling and frame generation technologies are also included.
To maintain high performance for extended periods, the smartphone will be equipped with an advanced cooling system. It includes a vapor chamber, internal fans, and liquid cooling elements. Such solutions are the hallmark of RedMagic gaming flagships.
