Xiaomi enters the top five in the Chinese automotive market

According to the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), Xiaomi is strengthening its position in the automotive industry. In April 2026, the brand ranked among the top five largest electric vehicle manufacturers in China. This was reported by Ixbt.com reports .

The company managed to sell 36,702 vehicles last month. This figure is significantly higher than the previously planned target of 30,000 units, demonstrating the rapid growth rate of Xiaomi in the market.

Currently, the market leader is BYD, which sold 182,025 vehicles in one month. The subsequent positions in the ranking are held by Geely (95,585), Changan (64,471), and Leapmotor (57,162).

Xiaomi secured fifth place, managing to surpass experienced market players such as Chery, Li Auto, and Nio. This result testifies to the successful strategy of the technology giant in the automotive industry.
