Indigo: A new platform unifying open social networks in one app

For users tired of centralized social media management, a new app called Indigo has been introduced. This application unifies various open social networks into a single interface, allowing users to control their own algorithms and content. This is reported by Techcrunch.com reports .

Decentralized networks are gaining popularity today, but users struggle to choose between different platforms like Mastodon and Bluesky. Indigo solves this problem by allowing users to see posts from both networks in one feed and post to both services simultaneously.

Developed by the Soapbox Software team, this app is based on the experience of the Croissant cross-posting tool. The app offers users conveniences such as color-coding Bluesky and Mastodon profiles, hiding NSFW content, blocking keywords, and using dark mode.

Indigo includes a universal search system, notification tracking, and custom feed capabilities. The app's core features operate on a paid subscription basis, priced at $4.99 per month. Currently, the app is available for iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices.
