Google introduces AI-powered widget creation for Android

Google has announced a new "Create My Widget" feature that allows Android users to create their own widgets using artificial intelligence. This capability will initially be available to Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel smartphone owners this summer, according to Techcrunch.com reports .
The new feature helps users generate the desired widget by submitting a request in natural language. For example, a user can ask to display weekly healthy eating recipes or create a weather widget that shows only wind speed and precipitation data.
Gemini technology integrates with Google apps like Gmail and Calendar alongside internet data. This allows users to consolidate all necessary details about their personal information, such as planned trips or events, into a single interface.
Google representative Ben Greenwood noted that this feature is like asking a personal assistant a question and keeping the answer visible on the screen. The company introduced this innovation alongside the Gemini Intelligence system, aimed at making the Android experience smarter and more flexible.
