Xiaomi has unveiled a new Mijia shower system with a minimalist design. The product is currently in the crowdfunding stage on the company's platform, with a price set at 900 yuan ($135) for participants and 1100 yuan ($160) for retail. This is reported by Ixbt.com .
The key features of the new device are a large 305 mm shower head and a 370 mm wide integrated shelf for shampoo and other accessories. Xiaomi has focused not only on aesthetics but also on daily usability.
The system is equipped with a separate button panel for water flow control: there is a dedicated button for each mode. It also features a smooth mechanical adjustment system that allows for more precise temperature control.
The front panel is made of tempered glass, while the internal components and body are crafted from an antibacterial brass alloy. Xiaomi notes that this solution increases the system's durability and protects it from moisture and grime.
The shower system supports four water flow modes and allows the use of multiple water channels simultaneously. For example, users can activate the overhead shower and hand shower at the same time and quickly switch modes with a single button press.
