Meta has announced the launch of an "incognito" mode for Meta AI chats on WhatsApp. This new feature allows users to conduct conversations in a secure environment, ensuring that no one, including the company itself, can view these messages. This was reported by Techcrunch.com reports .
Users can activate this mode in a private chat with Meta AI via a special icon. This feature will be available not only on WhatsApp but also in the standalone Meta AI app. In incognito mode, messages are not saved and are automatically deleted once the chat is closed.
Alice Newton-Rex, Vice President of WhatsApp Product, noted that people are using artificial intelligence for advice on sensitive matters such as finance or health. Therefore, providing users with the ability to ask their questions with maximum privacy is a priority for the company.
The new mode is based on the Muse Spark model, which was introduced by the company last month. Additionally, Meta is developing a "Side Chat" feature, which will allow users to interact with AI in group chats without others seeing the conversation.
