Thunderobot launches mini-PC with liquid cooling for AI

Thunderobot has introduced a unique workstation with a liquid cooling system designed for AI tasks. The new device comes in a compact 199 x 199 x 199 mm cube-shaped chassis and has launched on the Chinese market with a starting price of 26,999 yuan (approximately $4,000). This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .
The device is reinforced with an aluminum chassis and a 1 mm thick steel plate. Inside, it features a 12-layer motherboard and a 14-phase power system. For cooling, it uses a custom liquid cooling system (LCS) with a multi-layer copper plate covering 12,000 sq. mm, along with industrial-grade fans rated for up to 100,000 hours of service.
The workstation is equipped with a 16-core AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor based on the Zen 5 architecture and 4nm technology. It reaches frequencies of up to 5.1 GHz and features 80 MB of cache. It also includes Radeon 8060S graphics with 40 compute units and a neural processing unit providing 50 TOPS of performance for AI tasks.
The mini-PC is equipped with 128 GB of LPDDR5-8000 RAM and a 2 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. It includes a 400W Platinum-certified power supply. Interfaces include USB4 Type-C, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, 10G Ethernet, and 2.5G Ethernet ports, as well as Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 wireless technologies.
