Thermal Grizzly releases delidded Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus processor

Thermal Grizzly has started sales of specially modified Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus processors. These units have been delidded in factory conditions, optimized for direct-die cooling. The price for such a processor is $525. This is reported by Ixbt.com .

This CPU from the Arrow Lake series is designed for the LGA1851 socket. It features 24 cores (8 performance and 16 efficiency) and 24 threads. The processor operates at frequencies up to 5.5 GHz and is equipped with 36 MB of Intel Smart Cache. Its standard TDP is 125 W.

While the recommended price for a standard Intel Core Ultra 7 270K is around $290-300, the variant offered by Thermal Grizzly is nearly twice as expensive. According to the company, using liquid metal and a custom water block can reduce processor temperatures by up to 22°C compared to the standard state.

The delidded processor loses its official Intel warranty, so Thermal Grizzly provides its own. Each CPU is meticulously tested, and the package includes a USB drive with test results and a macro photo of the die. The manufacturer strongly advises against resealing the processor, as it may cause device failure.
