Russia's Looky messenger launches video calling feature

The Russian messaging app "Looky," a competitor to Instagram, has launched audio and video calling features. According to reports, VPN connections are not required for calls, and the service operates without additional restrictions from anywhere in the world. Looky's technical director, Alexander Laryonov, indicated that the app will expand its capabilities in the future, with plans to introduce voice and video messaging, group video calls, and channels linked to creator profiles.
