In Russia, the mobile operator "MegaFon" has been recognized as the fastest provider of mobile internet, according to a study conducted by "Vigo" on the "Merilo" platform. The average data transmission speed for users reached 65.56 Mbps, outperforming its closest competitor by 10%. The ranking, based on the "Vigo Speed Score," considered customer experience and overall network efficiency, with MegaFon scoring 78.45 points. Following MegaFon, "Beeline" secured second place with 67.24 points, while MTS and T2 ranked third and fourth, respectively.

According to the "Vigo" study conducted on the "Merilo" platform, the operator "MegaFon" took first place in terms of data transfer speed. For the majority of users, the high-speed level reached 65.56 Mbps. Ixbt.com reports this.

This figure is 10 percent higher than that of the nearest competitor.

The rating was compiled based on the "Vigo Speed Score" indicator, which takes into account customer experience in data transfer and overall network performance. "MegaFon" became the leader in speed by scoring 78.45 points.

Second place was taken by "Bilayn" with 67.24 points, followed by MTS (59.81) and T2 (57.73).

In the first quarter of 2026, nearly 90,000 measurements were conducted across all mobile operator networks using 11,000 devices. "MegaFon" technical director Aleksey Titov noted that the network is developing not only through the construction of new base stations but also through the modernization of infrastructure.
