Google Photos announces AI-powered digital wardrobe feature
Google Photos has announced a new AI-powered feature that transforms users' clothing images into a digital wardrobe. This technology allows users to mix and match outfits and try them on virtually, inspired by the concept from the movie "Clueless." The AI analyzes images in the user's library to automatically generate clothing replicas, enabling users to categorize outfits and create new styles. While the feature is not fully launched yet, it is expected to be available for Android devices during the summer, with iOS support to follow later.
The Google Photos app has announced a new feature based on artificial intelligence. This capability transforms users' clothing photos into a digital closet. Techcrunch.com reports on this.
With the help of the new technology, it is possible to match different outfits and try them on virtually. The idea was inspired by the virtual wardrobe of the character in the famous movie "Clueless."
Google states that the artificial intelligence analyzes photos in the app library and automatically creates copies of the clothing items. Users can sort outfits by category and create new styles.
There is an option to share created styles with friends or save them to a special digital board. This feature makes it easier to pre-select appropriate clothing for travel, work, or holidays.
The feature has not been fully launched yet. However, it is expected to appear in the "Collections" section for Android devices during the summer months, and later on the iOS system.
