Google introduces new Gmail Live AI feature for Gmail

Google continues to integrate AI capabilities more deeply into its Gmail service. The company has announced Gmail Live, a feature that allows users to search for information in emails through simple conversational queries. Instead of typing keywords into the search bar, users can now find necessary emails quickly by asking questions to the Gemini AI. This is reported by Techcrunch.com .
The new feature easily extracts complex information from emails, such as flight times, doctor appointments, or Airbnb door codes. Gmail Live understands natural language questions, responds to follow-up queries, and can switch between topics quickly. This feature is particularly useful for finding information buried across multiple email threads.
Devanshi Bhandari, Gmail product lead, noted that this technology is aimed at simplifying users' daily lives. During the demonstration, the AI showed it could understand context even without specific names, accurately retrieving sensitive information like hotel room numbers or travel details.
With this innovation, Google aims to demonstrate the practical benefits of AI. The company also plans to integrate this voice-enabled technology into its Google Keep notes service. These changes open new opportunities for users to manage their time more effectively.
