Special shelters for street cats have been installed in the territory of Tashkent International Airport. This was reported by the Uzbekistan Airports press service.
The shelters are located in the airport's green area — the space between the passenger hall and the main terminal building. During the design process, special attention was paid to the materials of the shelters: they are vandal-proof, fire-resistant, and environmentally friendly. A heating system is installed for cold days in winter, and a ventilation system for summer.
The officials emphasized the beneficial qualities of cats, noting that they not only provide aesthetic pleasure but also serve as effective helpers against rodents, including mice and rats. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
