Evacuation at Tashkent City Mall: GUVD's Explanation

On March 31, visitors and staff at Tashkent City Mall were evacuated. According to the Tashkent Main Department of Internal Affairs (GUVD), this was part of planned drills.​

The drills involved personnel from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard, and other law enforcement agencies, aiming to ensure compliance with safety regulations in places with large gatherings. The ministry reported that similar drills were conducted in other shopping centers across the capital on the same day.
