Uzbekistan and China to develop unified road standards
Uzbekistan and China have signed an agreement to establish a unified system of road construction standards and to develop innovative materials, according to the Uzbek Ministry of Transport via Kursiv.

The agreement was signed during a visit by Uzbekistan’s Committee for Roads to China. Both sides also agreed to begin work on digitalizing road infrastructure.

The agreement aims to enhance the scientific and technical capacity of the sector and align road development with international standards.
