Uzbekistan welcomed 1.1 million foreign tourists in May
In May 2025, 1.1 million foreign tourists visited Uzbekistan — the highest number ever recorded, uz.kursiv.media reported citing the Tourism Committee.

Officials attribute this growth to ongoing reforms in the tourism sector and Uzbekistan's policy of openness and international cooperation.

“The country is becoming more accessible and appealing to international visitors, and the impact is visible,” the committee stated.

The previous record was set just a month earlier — in April 2025, when over 1 million foreign tourists visited the republic.
