With the assistance of the embassy, a business trip of the heads of Uzbekistan's Propharm Partners and Lafz companies to Egypt was organized.
During the visit, a number of meetings and negotiations were held. In particular, as a result of the meeting with the heads of the ACDIMA holding, an agreement was signed for the localization of pharmaceutical product production in Uzbekistan. The parties agreed on the timelines and mechanisms for the implementation of the project.
Additionally, during the negotiations, distribution agreements for the supply of pharmaceutical products were signed with companies within the holding, including EIPICO, MUP (Medical Union Pharmaceuticals), and October Pharma.
The signed agreements foresee the import of high-quality, essential, and affordable medicines produced by Egyptian companies into the country, followed by their localization.
ACDIMA, the largest holding in the Middle East region, consists of 17 companies specializing in various sectors of the pharmaceutical industry.
