Uzbekistan imported over 24.3 thousand cars in the first half of 2025. Of this, 14.3 thousand were electric vehicles, according to National Statistics data.
The total import value is estimated at $422.1 million. China remains the leader, supplying 21.3 thousand cars to the country. South Korea exported 2 thousand cars, and India contributed 168.
In June, 4 thousand new foreign cars were sold in Uzbekistan, showing a decrease of 12.6% compared to the previous month. Approximately 29 thousand electric vehicles were sold.
Regarding car production in Uzbekistan, as of early July, over 185.6 thousand cars have been manufactured. The majority of these were Chevrolet Cobalt — 73.1 thousand. The first half of the year also saw the production of 46 thousand Damas, and Tracker followed with 22.8 thousand.
