59 illegal constructions halted in Tashkent

59 construction projects with incomplete documents were halted in Tashkent, Kursiv Media reported.
Developers failed to provide valid building permits, required expert opinions, and technical conclusions. Inspectors found attempts to illegally sell housing and numerous violations of construction regulations.

Illegal construction sites were forcibly disconnected from electricity supply. Most serious violations were recorded in Yangikhayot district, where 17 illegal construction sites were stopped. Mirabad and Mirzo-Ulugbek districts were also identified as problematic areas.

The fewest violations were found in Uchtepa and Yakkasaray districts. The city government urged Tashkent residents to be cautious when buying property. Local authorities advised checking original documents carefully and not paying in cash. If in doubt, residents can check the legality of construction via the official city bot.
