A new modern bus station has been opened in Samarkand

A brand-new bus terminal has officially opened in the city of Samarkand, according to the regional administration.

The terminal is located in the Cho‘pon-Ota area and was built under a public-private partnership model. The project received an investment of $12 million. The facility features modern architecture, energy-saving technologies, and advanced safety standards.

The terminal serves not only as a transport hub but also as a multifunctional service and retail center. It includes 120 shops, 3 restaurants, 14 service stations, 1 car dealership, and 2 hotels. The facility has created permanent employment for 300 local residents.
