Strawberry and berry harvests are increasing in Uzbekistan

In Uzbekistan, the production of strawberries and other berries continues to grow year by year. According to the State Committee on Statistics, in January–June 2025, all categories of farms produced a total of 1,151.3 thousand tons of fruit and berries.

This figure is 6.6% higher than in the same period last year. Experts attribute the growth to modern irrigation technologies, the expansion of intensive orchards, and reforms in the household farming sector.

By category, farms produced 463.9 thousand tons, household plots 661.3 thousand tons, and agricultural organizations 26.1 thousand tons.
