Colder weather and stronger winds are expected on August 15

The UzHydromet Center provided detailed information about the weather forecast expected to be observed across the country on August 15. As expected, in some regions a decrease in air temperature and an intensification of wind will be observed.

The capital and central regions
In the city of Tashkent, during the day the weather will be partly cloudy, with no precipitation expected. The wind will blow mainly from the east at a speed of 5–10 m/s. At night the air temperature will be around 20–22 degrees, while during the day it will rise to 31–33 degrees.
In the Syrdarya, Jizzakh and Samarkand regions, similar weather is expected. In these places, wind speed may reach 13–16 m/s in some areas, and dust storms may be observed. The temperature is relatively mild — 17–22 degrees at night, and 30–35 degrees during the day.

Western regions
In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region, the weather will be partly cloudy, with no chance of rain. The wind will be from the east at 7–12 m/s, sometimes strengthening to 13–18 m/s. This situation may lead to dust storms. The temperature will be 15–20 degrees at night and 27–32 degrees during the day.
In the Bukhara and Navoi regions, a similar situation is expected. Strengthening of wind and lifting of dust is possible. The temperature will be 18–23 degrees at night and 30–35 degrees during the day.

Southern regions
In the Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, the weather will be partly cloudy, with no precipitation. However, in some locations the wind speed may increase to 13–18 m/s, and dust storms may be observed. The temperature is high here: 19–24 degrees at night and 34–39 degrees during the day.

Eastern regions
In the Andijan, Namangan and Fergana regions, the weather will be clear and partly cloudy. No precipitation is expected. The wind will be 5–10 m/s, in some places it may strengthen to 13–18 m/s. The temperature will be 19–24 degrees at night and 31–36 degrees during the day.

Mountainous regions
In the mountainous areas of the republic, the weather will be partly cloudy and in some places variable; no precipitation is expected. Wind speed will be 7–12 m/s, sometimes strengthening to 13–18 m/s. The temperature will be 13–18 degrees at night and 23–28 degrees during the day.

Meteorologists warn the population about the danger of strengthening winds and dust storms and call for taking precautionary measures. In particular, citizens who will be on the roads and in the open air are advised to act with caution during windy weather.
